Clementine is a fourth-year undergraduate student completing a double major in Physiology and Health Studies at the University of Toronto. Her experience with research topics to the unpaid caregiver role and also volunteering to support socially isolated older individuals has pivoted her career interests towards the field of gerontology. She is specifically interested in understanding how to better support unpaid caregivers in Canada and on a global scale. At the SE Research Centre, Clementine will provide various support in the Our Dementia Journey Journal project, a co-designed, interactive tool to help foster and support partnerships between caregivers, care providers, and persons living with dementia. Through this work, she hopes to learn more about the process of developing and implementing practical health solutions from community feedback and to gain the necessary skills to harness technology in the field of aging.
