Elaine Stasiulis

Research Fellow

Dr. Elaine Stasiulis is a qualitative social science health researcher who is passionate about conducting research to advance health services in Canada through the production and effective mobilization of knowledge. With over two decades of experience, Elaine has worked extensively in both hospital and community-based settings, focusing on examining how diverse groups - such as children, young people and older adults with physical and mental health challenges - access and experience health services. At the SE Research Centre, Elaine draws from her implementation science and evaluation expertise to lead a multi-year CIHR-funded study in our Health and Care Experiences priority area that aims to co-design, implement and evaluate an evidence-based toolkit to facilitate personal support providers’ optimal inclusion in team-based home care. Elaine holds a PhD from the Institute of Medical Science at the University of Toronto, a MA in Society and Politics from Central European University, and a BSc in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo.
