Elizabeth Kalles

Research Associate

Elizabeth has been with SE Health since 2018 and brings with her a passion for research and helping people in need. In her work with the SE Research Centre, Elizabeth plays a key role leading and supporting projects in the areas of Aging in Society; Dying, Death, and Grief; and Health and Care Experiences. With a background in psychology, she brings a passion for participatory approaches and solution co-creation to her work and graduate studies at the University of Waterloo. Elizabeth's master's thesis explored the aging and mental health considerations of older adults and experts-by-lived-experience, in addition to objectively identifying the mental health differences of older adults receiving home care in Ontario during the pandemic. She started her PhD studies in September 2022 at the School of Public Health Sciences in the University of Waterloo. Follow Elizabeth on Twitter @lizdoesresearch.
