Dr. Giosa is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo, and was awarded $500,000 by CIHR to develop improved mental health supports for older Canadians. Her project builds on
previous work by the SE Research Centre on aging and mental health.
In the next 2 years, Dr. Giosa and her team will partner with various experts-by-experience across Canada including Ontario, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia in both rural and urban communities as part of this project.
